How Our Cats Look

Our king and queen cats in Sedalia, MO, are very strong and agile with large paws, allowing them to be excellent jumpers. Their bodies tend to be round, with a slight arch to their back due to having longer back legs. They have round faces, rather broad foreheads, and large, round eyes. Their ears are more medium-sized than some cats and tend to tilt forwards just a bit.
These beautiful cats have three layers of fur and come in a variety of colors. One layer is water repellant, and the others provide protection from the harsh Russian weather. Our queen and king cats have glossy fur, but they require quite a bit of grooming to prevent their fabulous coats from matting. Because the fur is so long and thick, they shed all year, with the largest moult in the spring and summer.
